How it works

A realistic week, built from your schedule

The core idea is simple: read the athlete’s actual week before recommending anything. Here’s what that looks like day to day.

Morning

Open the Dashboard and see today's schedule, plus an AI recommendation for how today should go, with a “Why?” you can always open.

Before or after practice

Log a quick training entry: what you did, and how it felt. After a game, log your stats if you want to track them.

Anytime

Ask the AI Coach a question. It answers grounded in your actual schedule and goals, not generic advice, and it's built to say “I don't know” rather than guess.

Weekly

The planner looks at your whole week (practice, games, school events) and adjusts what it recommends. A tournament Saturday changes what it suggests Thursday and Friday, automatically.

Over time

Progress shows real trends rather than only today's numbers. You can ask “why am I improving?” and get an honest, evidence-based answer, or an honest “not enough data yet.”

A concrete example

Say Saturday is a tournament. Most apps keep handing out the same training plan regardless. Arkway's planner sees the tournament on the schedule and starts adjusting a day or two out, tapering training and prioritizing recovery, instead of adding more load on top of a big week.

AI recommendation, Friday

Reduce today’s optional training and prioritize recovery.

You have a tournament tomorrow. A lighter day now should help you be ready, rather than adding fatigue on top of fatigue.
